Yard Sign Sisters' Policy

​Thank you for choosing Yard Sign Sisters. Before confirming your booking, please carefully read and understand the following

terms and conditions. By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge and agree to be legally bound by these terms.

​

​Yard Sign Rentals

Delivery and Pickup:

  • Yard signs are delivered Monday-Saturday between 7 PM and 7 AM. Rentals are for two days unless additional time is purchased.

  • We will send a text notifying you when we are on the way and a picture after the sign is set up.

  • For safety reasons, customers should not approach installers during setup until they confirm the setup is complete.

  • Pets must be secured during installation and pickup. Failure to secure pets may result in rescheduling fees or undelivered signs.

Delivery Areas:

  • Free delivery is available to the following areas: Carmel, Fishers, Fortville, Lawrence, McCordsville (Vernon), and Noblesville.

  • Delivery to New Palestine and Warren Township is available for an additional $10 fee. Please select the appropriate add-on when placing your order.

Color Disclaimer:

  • Yard Sign Sisters aims to provide the best color experience. However, color availability is not guaranteed. Dissatisfaction with colors does not warrant a refund but may qualify for a credit.

Damage and Return Policy:

  • Customers are responsible for any damage or loss of signs during the rental period.

  • Signs must be returned in their original condition. Failure to do so will result in charges for repairs or replacement.

  • Unretrieved yard signs will result in additional fees to reschedule pickup.

Yard Watering Policy:

  • For successful installation, watering your yard on the day of installation is required. Failure to comply may result in rescheduling or additional service charges.

Cancellations:

  • Cancellations made 14+ days before the scheduled date qualify for a full refund or in-house credit.

  • Cancellations made 7-13 days before the event qualify for an 85% refund or in-house credit.

  • Cancellations made 3-6 days before the event qualify for a 50% refund or in-house credit.

  • Cancellations made 0-2 days before the event are eligible only for in-house credit, with no refund.

 

Balloon Decor

Nature of Balloons:

  • We use high-quality balloons and materials to ensure a stunning setup. However, we cannot guarantee their performance after setup due to factors beyond our control, such as heat, direct sunlight, high winds, and sharp objects.

  • While we provide placement suggestions, the ultimate responsibility for balloon care rests with the customer.

Colors and Decor:

  • Due to supply shortages, substitutions may occur.

  • Exact color matches are not guaranteed.

Installation Guidelines:

  • Our team uses materials such as, magnets, command hooks, or tape for securing balloon installations. Proper removal of hooks (by pulling the tab downward) ensures no damage to surfaces. We are not responsible for damage caused by improper removal.

  • Balloon garlands must be attached to solid structures or one of our rental frames. Certain surfaces, like brick or porous stone, may not be suitable for installations.

  • Customers must inform us in advance of any specialized equipment needed (e.g., ladders for installations over 13 feet).

Delivery and Setup:

  • Deliveries occur Fridays after 4:00 PM and Saturdays. For setup times outside these windows, arrangements must be made in advance.

  • A 3-hour delivery window is required. Reduced delivery windows (<3 hours) incur a $50 fee.

  • A representative must be present during setup. Pets must be secured.

  • If setup is delayed due to incorrect addresses, unavailable representatives, or unsafe conditions, additional fees may apply, or the order may not be delivered (with no refund).

Pickup Orders:

  • Customers must arrive at the agreed pickup time. Orders left unattended for over 45 minutes may be placed on the porch at the customer’s risk.

Teardown Policy:

  • A 2-hour teardown window is required. Reduced windows incur a $50 fee.

  • Tear-downs after 9 PM incur additional fees. Pickup after 10:30 PM will be scheduled for the next day and will incur a next-day fee.

  • Materials must be returned in their original condition. Damages will result in charges for repair or replacement.

 

Helium Balloon Care & Pickup Tips

We treat your balloons with care!
Once your balloons leave our hands, we are not responsible for any popping or deflation due to heat, handling, or storage.

 

Float Time:

  • Latex balloons typically float 12–24 hours.

  • We treat them with Hi-Float to help extend their life (up to 1 day indoors).

  • Foil balloons usually float 2–4 days with proper care.

​

No Float Guarantees:

  • Temperature, handling, and weather can affect float time. We cannot guarantee specific balloon lifespans.

  • Outdoor Use:

  • Balloons are sensitive to heat, cold, wind, and direct sunlight.

  • In hot temps, they may pop. In cold, they may shrink.

  • For best results, schedule pickup close to your event time.

​

Porch Pickup / Storage:

  • Keep balloons indoors in a cool space until your event.

  • Avoid hot cars, rough surfaces, vents, and direct sun.

  • Want Longer-Lasting Options?

  • Choose foil or jumbo balloons, or

  • Consider air-filled bundles (they don’t float but can last for days/weeks).

 

No Balloon Releases:
We do not sell balloons for the purpose of balloon releases. We believe in celebrating joyfully while respecting the environment.

The Joy Bar

Delivery and Setup:

Snack Service Disclaimer:

  • The Joy Bar offers snacks prepared in a kitchen that may share equipment with allergens. Customers are responsible for communicating allergy concerns before the event.

  • A 2-hour teardown window is required. Reduced windows incur a $50 fee.

  • Tear-downs after 9 PM or pickups before 7 AM incur additional fees.

  • Materials must be returned in their original condition. Damages will result in charges for repair or replacement.

Shared Policies for Balloon Decor and The Joy Bar

Rush Order Fees:

  • Orders or changes made within 3 days of the event are subject to rush fees:

    • 3 days prior: 10% fee

    • 2 days prior: 15% fee

    • 1 day prior: 20% fee

    • Same-day: 25% fee

  • We reserve the right to turn down last-minute events or charge higher fees during peak times.

Cancellations:

  • Entertainment bookings are non-refundable.

  • Balloon decor cancellations:

    • 10+ days before the event: Refund available, minus a 20% administrative fee.

    • Less than 10 days: Non-refundable.

Inclement Weather:

  • If weather delays setup, customers may opt for a delayed installation or a full refund.

Custom Sign Policy

  • Order Process and Policies

    • An order is considered official once the following steps are completed:

    • Submission: The order must be submitted via email to info@customsignsisters.com.

    • Orders will not be accepted through any other form of communication to ensure all necessary information is in one place.

    • Payment: The invoice must be paid in full, or deposit whichever your invoice shows as required.

​

Once these steps are complete, your order will enter our production process.

​

  • Turnaround Time:

    • Minimum turnaround time is 7 business days (Monday–Friday), excluding the day the order is placed.

    • Rush orders are available for an additional fee (see below).

​

  • Proof Approval:

    • A digital proof will be provided for your approval before production begins. It is the customer's responsibility to review the proof carefully for any errors, including spelling, colors, or design layout.

    • Production will not start until the proof is approved. Delays in approval will result in delays in production.

  • Pickup vs. Delivery:

  • Pickup: All custom sign orders can be picked up for free from our McCordsville, IN location (46055).

  • Delivery: Delivery is available for an additional fee of $50 for distances up to 30 miles.

  • Color Matching:

    • While we strive to match your color preferences as closely as possible, slight variances may occur due to material availability and printing processes.

​

  • Refunds and Returns:

    • Refunds are only available in the case of an error made by Yard Sign Sisters LLC, DBA Custom Sign Sisters.

    • No refunds will be issued for errors approved in the digital proof.

​

  • Rush Orders:

    • Rush order fees apply as follows:

    • 3-Day Turnaround: $25 fee

    • 2-Day Turnaround: $40 fee

    • Same-Day Turnaround: $60 fee (subject to availability)

 

General Business Policies

  •  Privacy Policy: We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Data collected during the order process will be used solely to fulfill your order and improve our services. We do not share your information with third parties without your consent.

Liability and Insurance:

  • We carry a $1M insurance policy. Additional insured parties can be added to the certificate for a $25 fee.

Photography Consent:

  • We may photograph setups for promotional use. Personal location details will not be shared.

Force Majeure:

  • We are not liable for delays caused by uncontrollable events, such as natural disasters.

Customer Indemnification:

  • Customers assume responsibility for damages or losses caused by their actions.

Attorney Fees:

  • The prevailing party in disputes is entitled to reasonable attorney fees.

 

 

Enforceability Clauses

Acceptance of Terms: By placing an order or booking our services, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth on this page, which constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the customer) and Yard Sign Sisters LLC, DBA Custom Sign Sisters.

Modification of Terms: We reserve the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting. It is the customer’s responsibility to review these terms periodically.

Severability Clause: If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

​

Entire Agreement: These terms constitute the entire agreement between the customer and Yard Sign Sisters LLC, DBA Custom Sign Sisters, concerning the services provided and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.

Force Majeure: Yard Sign Sisters LLC, DBA Custom Sign Sisters, shall not be held liable for any delays or failures to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, government actions, or labor disputes.

​

Dispute Resolution and Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Indiana. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Indiana.

Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yard Sign Sisters LLC, DBA Custom Sign Sisters, shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the services rendered.

Disclaimer of Warranties: All services are provided on an “as is” basis without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Indemnification: The customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Yard Sign Sisters LLC, DBA Custom Sign Sisters, its employees, contractors, and affiliates, from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from their use of our services or breach of these terms.
